Good news VIMfam! Alongside VIMs and Smartified NFTs, you’ll be able to trade EGGs in the VIMworld Marketplace. EGGs are their own type of ERC-721 distinct from VIMs. Trading should commence on 01/10/2023.
To list an EGG in the Marketplace, you can either go to the EGG’s page in your My NFTs section, or click ‘List Item’ from the Marketplace itself, and navigate to your EGGs. Within the Marketplace, EGG activity will happen in the new EGGs tab, where you can filter listings by various EGG properties.
Listing fees and sales taxes will follow the same rates as for VIMs: a variable rate paid in BNB or VEED depending on the length of the auction, and in the case of a sale, a success tax of 5% of the sale price to VIMworld.
Remember, the higher the quality of EGG you have, the better chance of getting a more powerful Companion for your VIM. With Incubators on the release horizon, it won’t be long before you can start incubating your EGGs. Also, even hatched EGGs will remain in your My NFTs in a hatched state, so your EGG-collecting achievements will be preserved.
